Process Documentation
The design team was responsible for redesigning four company websites and leading a social media rebranding initiative for Joy Love Burgers to better connect with a younger, Gen Z audience. At the start of the project, We developed moodboards and gathered visual references to strengthen the company’s brand identity and ensure the websites would be visually engaging and appealing to potential customers. Updated websites are linked below or are in process of being approved for publishing.
CMKRE
Real estate broker Casey Kang and his team requested a website redesign that would reflect a professional aesthetic aligned with modern real estate industry standards. After conducting an assessment of potential homeowner and commercial business user needs, we developed a visual identity built on strong rectangular shape language and a maroon, black, white, and dark blue color palette. This approach reinforced brand consistency, conveyed trustworthiness and dependability, and referenced prior logo designs to maintain brand recognition.

Joy Love Burgers
For Joy Love Burgers, our team redesigned the website and extended the refreshed branding into social media campaigns, with the goal of centralizing brand identity and creating a cohesive customer experience. Drawing inspiration from Alice Kang’s black-and-white interior design of the restaurant, we integrated these elements digitally to ensure consistency between the physical space and the online presence. Our color strategy focused on using red to stimulate appetite, paired with pastel green and yellow to highlight freshness and natural ingredients, while hand-drawn illustrations added a playful, approachable quality. The moodboard reflected Joy Love Burgers’ mission of serving “delicious burgers made with love,” emphasizing a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere where customers feel at home. We incorporated 2D visuals such as plants, globes, cameras, and kitchen items to convey warmth and familiarity, and conducted market research on Korean café marketing strategies and 2D restaurant aesthetics, which strongly influenced the final design. These updates positioned Joy Love Burgers as both an affordable, family-friendly destination and a fun, Instagrammable spot that resonates with modern audiences.

Casey's Shared Offices
For Casey’s Shared Offices, our design approach focused on appealing to a target demographic of Millennials and Gen Z professionals, with an average age of around 36, many of whom are remote workers. Market research highlighted that this audience values a relaxing environment for day-to-day work, while also requiring functional spaces for client meetings and private, distraction-free work. To address these needs, we implemented a natural color palette that conveyed an inviting and casual atmosphere, while still maintaining the flexibility to blend seamlessly with the elegance of Yesac Pecos’ established design identity. This strategy balanced approachability with professionalism, positioning the shared offices as both practical and aesthetically appealing for modern workers.

YESAC AT PECOS
For YESAC at Pecos, an event booking venue, our design strategy highlighted the duality of the space as both refined and versatile, suited for occasions ranging from weddings to professional networking events. The moodboard emphasized YESAC’s identity as a dynamic, elegant, and professionally curated environment where memorable experiences are created. The overall tone balanced modern sophistication with timeless beauty, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to offering a secure, flexible, and elevated atmosphere for gatherings of all sizes. Visual design choices included sleek, modern typography paired with light cream tones and set against moody photography and deep backgrounds, creating a striking contrast that conveyed luxury and readability. The color palette combined warm hues—olive green, champagne, and bronze—to evoke celebration, warmth, and refinement, with deeper shades of gold, charcoal, navy, and blue to showcase sophistication and sleekness. The target audience included professionals, event planners, cultural and community organizations, entrepreneurs, and Houston-area locals seeking a space for weddings, conferences, parties, and indoor or outdoor events. By uniting elegance, versatility, and modern branding, the designs positioned YESAC at Pecos as a premier destination for creating meaningful and stylish experiences.
